LXVII SPA: Equal vote and the new electoral system (without Constitutional reform)

On Friday, November 5 (2021), Jorge Urdanoz (Universidad Pública de Navarra) will present the paper Igualdad de voto y nuevo sistema electoral (sin reforma Constitucional) for further discussion with attendees.

Jorge Urdanoz is Associate Professor of Legal Theory in Universidad Pública de Navarra and lecturer in Political Science and History of Political Ideologies in UNED. He has been Visiting Scholar at Columbia University and New York University. His research field is related to democracy, representation and voting theory. His last book is "Reformar el sistema electoral" (Gedisa, 2019). He is also an activist for the equal vote in Spain.

About the SPA Seminar

The Jesús G. Amuchastegui Seminar - a name that has replaced the previous Permanent Seminary Law and Justice as a small act of recognition of the aforementioned member of the Group who died in 2008 - aims to be an active space for evaluation, promotion and dissemination of research in the area of Philosophy of Law and Political Philosophy in Spain, articulating the debate with academics of international projection about their ongoing researchs and latest publications.
