On Tuesday, October 20, Arnulfo Daniel Mateos Durán (Heidelberg University) will participate in a seminar series organized by the Interest Group on Emerging Rights of the international association ICON-S, presenting a paper titled “Dogmatic Reconstruction of the Right to the City: Content and Limits.”
Arnulfo Mateos holds a law degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Heidelberg University in Germany, where he is currently completing his doctoral studies.
His doctoral thesis focuses on the impact of international human rights on national catalogues of fundamental rights, particularly within the context of the proportionality test.
His research interests center on fundamental rights theory, specifically the legal doctrine of fundamental rights as developed in German case law and academic literature.
